Trump Urges Israel To Take Out Iran Nuclear Facilities; Bashes Biden

Former President Donald Trump urged Israel to take out Iran’s nuclear facilities while bashing President Joe Biden‘s warning of restraint in the ongoing conflict during a Q&A session with voters in Fayetteville, North Carolina.

“I listened to Biden yesterday … they asked him, what do you think about Iran, would you hit Iran and he goes ‘as long as they don’t hit the nuclear stuff.’” Trump said Friday (October 4) via the New York Post. “That’s the thing you want to hit, right?”

“I think he’s got that one wrong, isn’t that the one you’re supposed to hit,” Trump added. “It’s the biggest risk we have, nuclear weapons.”

Trump was campaigning in Fayetteville while taking part in relief efforts for areas ravaged by Hurricane Helene this week. The former president’s comments came after Iran launched 200 ballistic missiles into Israel, most of which were shot down by Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile defense system, with a Palestinian man in the West Bank who was crushed by the fuselage of an intercepted missile serving as the lone casualty.

Israel vowed retaliation on Iran, which Biden gave his blessing to, however, his administration included demands of restraint, warning not to target Iran’s nuclear facilities.

“The answer is no,” Biden said on Wednesday (October 2) via the New York Post. “We’ll be discussing with the Israelis what they are going to do.”
