LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Fire victims in need of food can visit Los Angeles City College on Wednesday for a free food distribution event hosted by Supervisor Hilda Solis, it was announced Monday.
The East Hollywood Food Distribution event, supported by the LA Regional Food Bank and L.A. City College, starts at 9 a.m. Wednesday.
It is for those communities affected by the destructive wildfires in Southern California in January, but specifically for those in the East Hollywood area.
There will be boxes of non-perishable items, fresh produce, face masks and diapers available. There will also be a resource fair with county departments on site.
Food will be distributed in a walk-up style setup and on a first-come, first-served basis. It is scheduled to end at noon on Wednesday.
