LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Music fans will be able to purchase $1 tickets to select Hollywood Bowl concerts beginning Thursday under a summer discount program offered by the Los Angeles Philharmonic.
Tickets for participating performances at the iconic outdoor venue will become available at 10 a.m. Thursday through the Hollywood Bowl website.
The offer includes select classical and non-classical concerts throughout the 2026 season and is limited to four tickets per household, with seating located in bench sections L through U.
Featured concerts in the promotion include the Blue Note Jazz Festival on June 13 and 14, Chance the Rapper’s Juneteenth celebration on June 19, “The Classical World Cup” on July 9 and performances by Herbie Hancock, Buddy Guy and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra with Wynton Marsalis later in the season.
Other participating shows include “How to Train Your Dragon in Concert,” a salsa showcase featuring Nathy Peluso and Grupo Niche, and performances by Ruben Blades and Roberto Delgado Big Band.
According to organizers, tickets are non-transferable and cannot be resold. Tickets will be distributed electronically through Hollywood Bowl accounts and the venue’s mobile app.
Patrons will also be able to purchase transportation options, including park and ride, shuttle and Metro passes, during the ticket checkout process.
In a message Wednesday promoting the program, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis encouraged residents to prepare in advance because tickets are expected to be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
