Awards season is officially here, and there are some interesting contenders for the 83rd Golden Globe Awards.
Comedian Nikki Glaser returns as host for a second straight year, promising sharp jokes and plenty of energy on the red carpet and stage.
This year’s nominations are stacked, with films like One Battle After Another leading with the most nods across movie categories.
Several titles are generating buzz from critics and awards trackers, including Sinners, Hamnet, Sentimental Value, and One Battle After Another, all of which are tipped for wins in major categories. One Battle After Another is considered to be an especially strong contender in the Musical or Comedy film bracket. However, some don’t consider it to be a musical or a comedy.
There could be some surprise winners, including actors like Wagner Moura for Best Actor in a Drama for his role in The Secret Agent, and Jessie Buckley for Best Actress in Drama for her role in Hamnet. They’ve been highlighted as frontrunners in some prediction circles, but don’t count out Jennifer Lawrence for her dramatic turn in Die My Love.
Beyond the competitive categories, the Globes will also honor television royalty with special awards, including the Carol Burnett Award for television excellence.
Whether you’re tuning in for the fashion, the surprises, or to see which performances get a trophy this year, the Golden Globes remain one of the most talked-about nights in entertainment.
Tune in on Sunday, January 11, 2026 at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on CBS or stream live on Paramount+ and stick with KFI for highlights and takeaways after the show.
