Former USC and NFL quarterback turned FOX Sports broadcaster Mark Sanchez has been hospitalized after being the victim of an overnight stabbing in Indianapolis, both FOX Sports and the Indianapolis Metro Police Department confirmed in statements shared on Saturday (October 4).
Sanchez, 38, a former first-round pick by the New York Jets in 2009, is reported to be in “stable condition.”
“Mark Sanchez was injured in Indianapolis on Saturday and is currently recovering in the hospital in stable condition. We are deeply grateful to the medical team for their exceptional care and support. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mark, and we ask that everyone please respect his and his family’s privacy during this time,” FOX Sports wrote on its X account.
