Girl, 15, Missing in South LA for Close to a Week

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Authorities sought the public’s help Wednesday in locating a 15-year-old girl who has been missing for a close to a week in South Los Angeles.

Jaiyana Evans was last seen around 7 a.m. Thursday, leaving her residence in the 2200 block of East 115th Street by the Glenn Anderson (105) Freeway in the Watts neighborhood, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

Evans was described as a 5-feet tall Black girl, about 110 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing black pants, a black Simon Tech School sweater, black shoes, and a Casper the Ghost backpack.

Anyone with information regarding her whereabouts was asked to contact Detective III Patsenhann at 213-709-3784. During non-business hours or on weekends, calls should be directed to 877-527-3247. Tipsters who wish to remain anonymous can call 800-222-8477 or visit lacrimestoppers.org.
