Missing French Bulldog Reunites with Owner After 2 Years

Yasmine Haezart, a resident of North Hollywood, has been joyfully reunited with her French Bulldog, Havoc, who was missing for two years. Havoc disappeared after slipping through an opening on the cul-de-sac where Haezart lives and was taken by a passing driver. The reunion occurred after Good Samaritans found Havoc nearly 100 miles away in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County.

During the two-year separation, Haezart took extensive measures to locate her beloved pet. She hired cadaver dogs, distributed flyers, and utilized social media to keep Havoc’s story alive. Her dedication paid off when Good Samaritans, who found Havoc, posted his photo online and took him to the Apple Valley Animal Shelter. There, staff confirmed Havoc’s identity through his microchip.

Haezart expressed her gratitude for the community’s support, stating, “It’s truly just a testament to the power of community and the power of good people.” She credits the collective effort of people who followed her story and helped in the search.

According to KTLA, during the search for Havoc, Haezart also assisted in reuniting five other missing or stolen French Bulldogs with their owners. The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals Los Angeles (SPCALA) emphasizes the importance of microchipping pets, especially popular breeds like French Bulldogs, to prevent theft and facilitate recovery.
