Woman Injured While Hiking in Topanga State Park

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A woman was injured while hiking along a trail Saturday at the Topanga State Park in the Pacific Palisades, authorities said.

Firefighters and paramedics were dispatched at 11:29 a.m. to 20825 Entrada Road, at the park’s Backbone Trail, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

An LAFD rescue helicopter was lowered along with a flight paramedic who assessed and stabilized the hiker. She was airlifted to a hospital, where her condition was not immediately clear.
