NORTH HOLLYWOOD (CNS) – Authorities Saturday are investigating a crash that killed a motorcycle rider on the Hollywood (170) Freeway in North Hollywood.
The crash was reported around 11:56 p.m. Friday and California Highway Patrol officers responded to the northbound freeway near the Sherman Way exit where they learned the motorcycle rider and another vehicle had been involved in a collision on the freeway, CHP Officer Sergio Garcia told City News Service.
The victim, who was found lying in one of the freeway lanes, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The collision closed three lanes of the freeway while the CHP investigated the crash.
