Former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris squared off in their first presidential debate on Tuesday (September 9) night at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia.
The debate was hosted by ABC News and moderated by World News Tonight anchor David Muir, and ABC News Live anchor Linsey Davis.
The two candidates traded barbs as they debated the economy, abortion, immigration, foreign policy, and other issues.
Harris used her time to lay out her plan for her first term while attacking Trump for his job while he was president and how he handled losing in 2020, bringing up his many legal troubles and controversies.
Trump worked hard to tie Harris to Biden and the current problems facing the country, including inflation and the immigration crisis at the southern border.
