Investigation Into Fire At Spencer Pratt’s L.A. Campaign Office

An investigation is underway following a fire at the campaign office of former Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt. The blaze erupted last Thursday night (June 11) at the Highlands Circle complex in Pacific Palisades, where Pratt’s crystals company office is located. Pratt, known for his previous reality TV career, has suggested that arsonists may be responsible, though fire officials have not confirmed this.

According to the Los Angeles Times, Pratt described the fire as “very suspicious” and hinted at a possible political motive, citing his recent mayoral campaign against Karen Bass and Nithya Raman. However, the building’s superintendent, Oscar Chang, told the Palisadian-Post that he does not believe the fire is related to Pratt’s political activities.

The Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) responded to the fire, with multiple units dispatched to the scene. The LAFD’s Arson Unit was also notified, but the cause of the fire remains undetermined. As reported by KTLA, eyewitnesses claimed to have seen two individuals leaving the building shortly before the fire was reported.

Pratt’s office is located in a building that survived the Palisades Fire earlier this year. The property was undergoing renovations at the time of the incident. Pratt has been vocal about his suspicions, stating to the California Post that “this was no accident” and expressing concerns over potential reprisals for his political stance.

The investigation into the fire continues, with no injuries reported. The LAFD has yet to release any official findings regarding the cause of the blaze.
