ELYSIAN PARK (CNS) – The Dodgers will open their 2027 season and their 70th year in Los Angeles on March 25 with a home game against the Atlanta Braves.
The opener at Dodger Stadium will begin a six-game, seven-day homestand that also includes two additional games against Atlanta on March 27- 28 and a three-game series against the Minnesota Twins from March 29-31, according to Major League Baseball’s preliminary schedule released Thursday.
The Dodgers are scheduled to host Jackie Robinson Day on April 15 against the Colorado Rockies and will play at home on several holidays during the season, including Easter Sunday on March 28 against the Braves, Mother’s Day on May 9 against the San Francisco Giants, Juneteenth and Father’s Day on June 19-20 against the Miami Marlins and Independence Day on July 4 against the New York Mets.
The San Diego Padres and Arizona Diamondbacks will make their first visits to Dodger Stadium during a six-game homestand from May 21-26.
The Dodgers’ annual Freeway Series home games against the Angels are scheduled for July 16-18, following the 97th All-Star Game at Wrigley Field in Chicago.
Other interleague opponents visiting Los Angeles next season include the Chicago White Sox from April 26-28, the Detroit Tigers from April 30 through May 2, the Athletics from July 19-21 and the Houston Astros from Aug. 3- 5.
The Dodgers also will host the New York Yankees from Aug. 27-29 and the Toronto Blue Jays from Sept. 13-15.
The Dodgers’ final home regular-season game is scheduled for Sept. 19. The regular season will conclude Sept. 26 with a road game against the Arizona Diamondbacks at Chase Field.
The team said information regarding promotions and single-game ticket sales will be announced at a later date.
