Halloween Horror Nights is bringing the scares and apparently, an absolutely unhinged amount of food.
Universal Studios Hollywood has unveiled this year’s HHN menu, with dishes inspired by everything from “Stranger Things” and “Sinners” to Ozzy Osbourne, Art the Clown, “The Simpsons” and even Fortnitemares.
And some of these creations may be scarier than the haunted houses.
At Ozzy’s Bar, you can “Bark at the Naan” with a chicken tikka masala naan taco, grab a Crazy Train Chickpea Curry Burrito or finish things off with The Prince of Darkness Cake, carrot cake covered in black ganache and topped with a chocolate bat. There’s also the Blizzard of Ozz-arita, a bright blue tequila cocktail with black rock candy.
“Terrifier” fans can head to the Clown Cafe, where Art the Clown has apparently taken over the kitchen. The standout might be the Death by Cheese Stick, a giant fried mozzarella stick coated in crushed Ruffles and served with spicy marinara. There are also Bloodbath Brisket Fries, a chocolate-raspberry Gut Wound pastry and Art’s Killer Cold Brew, made with bourbon, amaro, cold brew and sweet cream cold foam.
The food gets a little more sophisticated over at “Sinners,” with pork burnt ends covered in black garlic whiskey barbecue sauce, jalapeño cornbread and warm pecan-and-whiskey bread pudding. You can wash it down with I Lied to You, I Love the Blues-berry, available both as a cocktail and a non-alcoholic drink.
