During the day, most homes’ doorbell and security cameras only capture a passerby or a curious bird, but if the cameras have night vision and motion sensors that pick up movements in the dark, a lot of bizarre scenes might be filmed. Already, footage has come out of alien abductions, strange creatures, ghosts, even a man transforming into a dog. Now, something even odder was captured on film in Florida.
Palm Coast resident Cristina Ryan sent what her camera picked up to her local FOX affiliate since she felt it was newsworthy because it appeared to show an animal that has been extinct for 70 million years running through her yard. In the video, a dinosaur-like creature, perhaps a velociraptor, darts across Cristina’s lawn. She told the news, “Any animal we can come up with that would be ‘walking’ at 3:40 in the morning, wouldn’t walk this way. Maybe I’ve watched Jurassic Park too many times, but I see a raptor or other small dinosaur!”
She went on to say, “Some say a large bird, but that makes no sense since whatever it is appears to have front legs. So not sure… I’m sticking with raptor myself.”
As always, commenters had opinions. One shared, “Looks like a Komodo dragon or some type of lizard,” and another said, “Obviously a damn turkey.”
The overall consensus though is that the “dinosaur” is actually a dog. One person explained, “That is a dog wearing a harness dragging a leash. You can see all four legs and the harness and leash dragging behind it.” Another added, “Definitely a dog with a reflective collar and even dragging a leash behind him. I don’t think someone’s pet dino got away from them.”
However, there were plenty of viewers who disagreed and were certain that the animal is something much different, with one especially creative commenter suggesting, “UFO recently sighted and guess this could be the CEO checking things out.”
There is no official word on if the creature was a dino, a dog or an alien on the loose, so it’s still anyone’s guess what’s in the clip.
