A pair of Georgia firefighters who were reported missing have been found dead in Cocke County, Tennessee, the Hinesville Police Department said on Sunday (June 30).
Officials said that the bodies of Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander were found near Anderson’s vehicle. Their bodies were taken for an autopsy to determine their cause of death.
Raegan Anderson and Chandler Kuhbander were reported missing last week. Anderson was last seen on Tuesday at the Liberty County Fire Services Station #1 in Midway, Georgia, while security camera footage showed Kuhbander leaving the gym that morning.
Kuhbander’s mother posted about their disappearance on Facebook and suggested that Anderson was involved.
“[Anderson] is a danger to herself, and he is believed to not be with her willingly!” Jane Kuhbander wrote.
The pair dated for several years but recently broke up. According to WJCL, Anderson was recently arrested after she allegedly keyed Kuhbander’s vehicle.
The Hinesville Police Department did not provide any details about the case and said that the Cocke County Sheriff’s Office and the Tennessee Bureau of Investigations were handling the investigation.
