Disneyland Resort is offering a spooky new venue for couples looking to tie the knot. Beginning in July 2026, Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings and Honeymoons will allow couples to exchange vows at the iconic Haunted Mansion Courtyard in Disneyland Park.
The new wedding venue, announced as part of Disney Weddings’ 35th anniversary celebration, will accommodate intimate ceremonies of up to 25 guests before the park opens to regular visitors. The package includes a dedicated officiant, light décor, photography, and transportation to and from a Disneyland Resort hotel.
“Couples today are looking for a destination wedding venue with unique storytelling so that it reflects their passions and interests,” said Korri McFann, marketing director for Disney’s Fairy Tale Weddings & Honeymoons. “Haunted Mansion has always been a fan favorite, and we’re delighted to bring their dream wedding to life!” according to a Disney press release.
The Haunted Mansion’s towering columns and eerily enchanting façade have long been a popular photo spot for Disney fans. Now, the courtyard will provide a dramatic backdrop for couples seeking a wedding or vow renewal with a distinctive storytelling twist.
For those who prefer a different view of the Haunted Mansion, couples can also exchange vows at Magnolia Park Terrace, an elegant spot located just steps away from the attraction. This adds to more than a dozen wedding venues already available at Disneyland Resort.
Disney cruise enthusiasts can also celebrate their nuptials with a Haunted Mansion theme at sea. Starting in May 2026, couples can get married inside the Haunted Mansion Parlor on the Disney Destiny, a new ship in the Disney Cruise Line fleet. The parlor features eerie experiences and spooky design elements, including portraits that shift to reveal secrets of a ghostly sea captain and his bride-to-be.
Disney Weddings plans to make additional announcements throughout February as part of its 35th anniversary celebration. Engaged couples interested in planning their own “hauntingly romantic” ceremony can visit DisneyWeddings.com for more information.
