Ex-Reality TV Swinger Tony McCollister Arrested On Disturbing Charges

Tony McCollister, who had previously appeared on the A&E reality series Neighbors With Benefits, was arrested in Warren County, Ohio, on felony sex crimes involving a minor and animals.

McCollister was charged with pandering obscenity involving a minor and engaging in sexual conduct with animals, according to court recorded cited by WLWT. The suspect is accused of uploading child sexual abuse material to a Google account and committing sexual acts involving two dogs he owned, according to prosecutors.

McCollister remains incarcerated at the Warren County Jail after appearing for an arraignment earlier this week and is scheduled to appear in court on December 30, as no plea has been entered. Court records showed that investigators found evidence tying McCollister’s online accounts to the probe, but authorities haven’t shared additional details on when the investigation was launched or when the alleged criminal activity occurred publicly.

Prosecutors haven’t confirmed whether McCollister would face additional charges as the investigation continues. The current charges are serious felonies under Ohio law and would result in a lengthy prison sentence if convicted.

The arrest resulted in attention being brought back to the controversial docuseries Neighbors With Benefits, which chronicled Ohio suburban couples who openly practiced swinging while living otherwise average lives. The show debuted in March 2015 but was pulled off the airwaves after just two episodes following backlash from viewers.
