Erika Kirk Proclaims Husband Was ‘Ready To Die’

Erika Kirk, the widow of conservative political activist Charlie Kirk, proclaimed that her husband was “ready to die” while speaking at his memorial service at State Farm Stadium on Sunday (September 21).

“There was nothing he was putting off,” Erika explained.

“There was nothing that was too hard or too painful. … Charlie died with incomplete work, but nothing that was unfinished business,” she added to a loud applause from the crowd.

Erika, who was announced as the next CEO of Turning Point USA, the organization co-founded by Kirk, following her husband’s death, also said her husband “wanted to save young men — just like the one who took his life.”

“I forgive him,” she added of her husband’s killer.

The widow wore all white as he held back tears while addressing the crowd reported to have exceeded 73,000, having mouthed “I love you” to the sky.

“God bless all of you for coming here from all over the world to honor and celebrate my Charlie,” she said.

Erika was the final speaker before President Donald Trump gave the event’s final speech on Sunday and followed Vice President JD Vance.

“He was murdered for speaking the truth,” Vance said, claiming his “friend” wouldn’t let “evil” hinder his beliefs.

“It is better to face a gunman than live your life afraid to face the truth,” he added.

Turning Point USA, the conservative organization co-founded by Kirk, said that more than 200,000 people registered to attend the ceremony.

Kirk was fatally shot in the neck during what was scheduled to be the first stop on his ‘American Comeback Tour’ on September 10. The suspected shooter, Tyler Robinson, was announced to have been in custody and publicly identified by police on September 12.

Kirk founded Turning Point USA at the age of 18 along with tea party activist William Montgomery in 2012. The political pundit gained notoriety debating liberal students, winning over conservative financiers.

Kirk enthusiastically supported President Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign and served as a personal aide to his son, Donald Trump Jr., during the campaign, while also gaining a regular presence on cable news.
