The FBI’s Los Angeles field office has announced a reward of ‘up to $100,000’ for information leading to the identification, arrest, and conviction of an unidentified man who federal officers say allegedly shot at them during an enforcement operation at a Glass House Farms cannabis facility in Camarillo in July.
During the raid, workers fled the scene, and one tragically fell to his death from a rooftop while attempting to evade capture. The situation escalated further when a violent confrontation broke out between protestors and federal agents at two separate Glass House Farms locations. Amid the chaos, someone reportedly brandished a firearm and fired at agents.
The FBI press release says,
“On July 10, 2025, at approximately 2:26 p.m., the unidentified male allegedly brandished what appeared to be a pistol and possibly fired toward federal agents conducting a law enforcement operation in Camarillo, California. At the time of the alleged assault, the unknown male is believed to have been participating in a protest.
The FBI does not open investigations based on First Amendment protected activity. Assaulting, resisting, or impeding federal law enforcement officers performing their duties is a federal crime.
