A man was arrested on Saturday after causing a scene by roaming naked in Disneyland’s New Orleans Square in Anaheim, California. The man, a Canadian citizen, was under the influence of narcotics during the incident. He climbed on top of Tiana’s Palace, a restaurant inspired by ‘The Princess and the Frog,’ and exposed himself to visitors below. According to ABC7, Disneyland workers attempted to redirect visitors away from the spectacle while the man continued his antics.
Footage shared online shows the man waving his arms and climbing over the restaurant balcony. Witnesses described the chaotic scene on social media, with one person noting that they were eating beignets when the man began his climb. Another witness said, “We came out of Haunted Mansion and walked right into that scene!” The New York Post reported that the man was shouting, “I am exposing myself to expose…” before being apprehended by security.
Disneyland security, along with undercover police officers, managed to detain the man, who now faces charges of trespassing, public nudity, and being under the influence of narcotics. Inside the Magic suggests that he may face a lifetime ban from Disney properties. The incident follows a similar event in 2023 when another man was arrested for stripping down and disrupting the ‘It’s a Small World’ attraction.
