Keneshia Dixon, 35, is facing multiple charges, including kidnapping and conspiracy to commit robbery, after an incident at a Target store in Las Vegas on Friday (August 1). According to an arrest report obtained by KLAS, Dixon and her three teenage daughters were caught stealing from the store. A loss prevention specialist reported the theft to the police, noting that the group was concealing items in the baby department.
When officers arrived, they attempted to detain Dixon and the teens as they exited the store. The situation escalated when Dixon and one of the teens resisted arrest, leading to a scuffle. During the altercation, Dixon managed to get into a vehicle, and an officer fell into the rear floorboard with his legs hanging out. One of the teens then drove the vehicle through the parking lot with the officer still partially inside.
As the vehicle continued, a witness heard the teens shouting for the officer to be let out. As the driver exited the parking lot and turned onto the street, another officer intervened by ramming the vehicle to stop it. Dixon and the teen were taken into custody, but Dixon later fled while still handcuffed. Police found her nearby and arrested her.
The officer involved was treated for injuries at a local hospital and released. Dixon was also treated for minor injuries before being taken to the Clark County Detention Center. She is scheduled to appear in court on August 19. The three teenagers were arrested and taken to the Clark County Juvenile Hall on various charges, including robbery and kidnapping.
