A video shared online shows a woman screaming and cursing in a little girl’s face among a group of supporters outside Vice President Kamala Harris‘ Houston rally.
The incident appears to have taken place at the Houston Metro station outside Shell Energy Stadium Friday (October 25) night, the same event in which Beyoncé endorsed the Democratic presidential nominee. The woman is seen bending over and yelling in the face of the child, who was sitting in a stroller at the time.
Several other individuals, including a woman who attempted to put her hand on the woman’s chest to stop her and appeared to say, “no, that’s a baby,” were seen holding ‘Harris-Walz’ signs. The man who picked up the child during the incident appeared to be holding a microphone at the time, suggesting he possibly addressed the crowd, though the exact cause of the confrontation was not made clear as of Sunday (October 27) morning.
Another individual in the background is heard yelling at the woman, “Are you not ashamed at all? Look at her face!” Several X users praised the woman who intervened in the situation, including apparent conservatives.
“I don’t know who she is…and I clearly disagree with her politics… But this woman who had the good sense to tell this unhinged brat it’s not appropriate to attack someone’s baby….deserves a shout out,” one person wrote.
“I give credit to the one Kamala supporter who immediately grabbed that dumb bish and yelled at her like a disappointed mother,” another person added.
