Tyreek Hill Detained By Police Hours Before Week 1 Game

Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill was briefly detained by police due to a minor traffic violation that took place outside Hard Rock Stadium hours prior to the Dolphins’ Week 1 game against the Jacksonville Jaguars on Sunday (September 8), his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, confirmed to ESPN‘s Adam Schefter.

“Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained by police today entering the stadium for a driving violation, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. But Rosenhaus said Hill will play today,” Schefter wrote on his X account before quoting Rosenhaus as saying, “I just left Tyreek and he is getting ready to play today.”

A video shared by Schefter showed Hill placed in handcuffs and laying on the ground outside the stadium.

THIS IS A DEVELOPING STORY AND WILL BE UPDATED.
