COMPTON (CNS) – Two people were wounded in a shooting that occurred during a street takeover in Compton, authorities said Monday.

The street takeover was reported at 8:20 p.m. Sunday at Greenleaf Boulevard and Santa Fe Avenue, Sgt. A. Hebert of the Compton Sheriff’s Station told City News Service.

Video posted on social media by LA County Unleashed showed cars spinning around the intersection, when the rear of a dark sedan swung into the rear of a white sedan. The driver of the white car is shown getting out and appearing to fire a handgun at the people in the dark sedan.

Two people later turned up at a hospital with gunshot wounds not believed life-threatening, Hebert said.
