LOS ANGELES (CNS) – A 23-year-old man was arrested today as the alleged driver in the hit-and-run crash that injured six people in South L.A. Â
On Sunday, police took Steven Weems into custody for the alleged crime, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. Â
The Porsche Cayenne SUV crashed at 8:20 p.m. Saturday in the 3800 block of Trinity Street in Historic South-Central Los Angeles, according to Firefighter Nicholas Prange of the Los Angeles Fire Department. Â
Six patients between the ages of 30 and 50 years old were taken to hospitals for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Prange said. Their exact conditions and injuries were not yet disclosed.
