‘Spiderman From Hell’ Burglar Sneaks Into Homes Through Doggy Doors

A serial burglar dubbed the ‘Spiderman from Hell’ is causing concern in Houston’s Montrose neighborhood. Since December, at least seven break-ins have been reported, with the thief gaining entry through small doggy doors and windows. The burglar, who operates during the day when residents are at work or school, has primarily stolen jewelry and electronics.

Surveillance footage captured the man, who remains unmasked and ungloved, contorting through tight spaces to access homes. Narissa C, a victim of the burglar, described the intruder’s movements to KTRK as “defying gravity” and said he took a box of jewelry, including a family heirloom and her Texas A&M class ring. Another victim, Khristen Lister, expressed feeling “helpless” as the crime spree continues.

The Houston Police Department and the Harris County Precinct 1 Constable’s office are investigating and believe the same individual may be linked to more burglaries. They urge anyone with information to contact Investigator Joseph Bowden at Joseph.bowden@cn1.hctx.net or call 713-755-5200.

Authorities recommend residents secure windows, reinforce pet doors, and use alarms and cameras to deter further incidents. Despite these measures, the community remains on edge, hoping for an arrest soon.
