Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos has announced a crackdown on unlawful behavior by YouTubers in the Catalina Foothills neighborhood of Tucson, Arizona, where Nancy Guthrie, the mother of “Today” show host Savannah Guthrie, went missing. The crackdown follows a surge in 911 complaints from residents, which have tripled since the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance began in February.
Sheriff Nanos stated that his office initially tried to manage the situation with education and warnings, but as complaints continued, deputies began issuing citations. Now, habitual offenders face arrest and potential jail time. “If you received a ticket, you will then be arrested,” Nanos said, emphasizing that those who ignore citations will face stricter consequences.
KVOA reported that two YouTubers, Alexander Zabel Jr. and Troy Bradshaw, were recently arrested for obstruction and public nuisance. Zabel runs the “Criminal Network” page, while Bradshaw operates “DAA JUICE.” Another individual, Damien Todd Enderle, was cited for public nuisance but not arrested.
The crackdown comes as the search for Nancy Guthrie continues. She was last seen at her home on January 31, and authorities suspect she was kidnapped, with drops of her blood found on the porch. Despite extensive efforts, no suspect has been publicly identified. The case has attracted significant attention from online sleuths and media, adding pressure on law enforcement.
Savannah Guthrie has expressed gratitude for the support she has received and has offered a $1 million reward for information leading to her mother’s recovery. A separate reward of over $200,000 is also available for information about her whereabouts or those involved in her disappearance.
