LOS ANGELES — Melrose Avenue has a new must-see landmark for Severance fans — a massive hand-painted mural inspired by the season 2 finale, “Cold Harbor.”
The artwork, stretching across the side of a building near an Apple TV+ billboard, recreates the finale’s most striking image: Innie Mark (Adam Scott) seated at his desk, hand raised in solemn oath, surrounded by familiar faces from both sides of the severance chip. Painted over several days, the piece has gone viral, with locals snapping photos and Scott himself sharing a selfie.
The episode marked a turning point for the series, with Mark completing the long-teased Cold Harbor file, triggering a surreal corporate celebration and an unsettling new mural inside Lumon. The Melrose installation mirrors that moment, blending corporate grandeur, existential dread, and cryptic symbolism.
While fans are already speculating about season 3, Apple TV+ says production hasn’t begun — meaning the wait could stretch into 2026 or beyond. In the meantime, the mural serves as both a love letter and a lingering mystery for the show’s devoted followers.
Local artist Daniel Aviles created the mural.
