A stabbing that occurred outside Santa Ana High School on Wednesday, resulted in the death of a 14-year-old student and injuries to two others. The stabbing took place shortly after school ended, around 3:25 p.m., in a parking lot shared with Martin R. Heninger Elementary School. Police have confirmed that the suspects, two male students aged 15 and 17, turned themselves in overnight and are currently in custody. The Santa Ana Police Department is investigating the incident, which involved an altercation among several individuals.
The deceased student, a freshman, was described by friends and classmates as “kind and funny.” The two injured students, aged 15 and 17, were hospitalized with stab wounds to the upper torso and are expected to recover. According to KTLA, police have confirmed that all involved parties were affiliated with gangs.
