A road rage incident in Bradenton, Florida, escalated into a crash and gunfire on Monday (June 2). The altercation began when Raesean Poole, 33, driving a Jeep, confronted Anthony Williams, 20, over not using a turn signal while turning into a parking lot at 101 Riverfront Blvd. According to the Bradenton Police Department, Williams parked his vehicle, and Poole backed up to confront him.

The situation intensified when Williams and his 16-year-old passenger exited the Buick. Poole claimed that Williams displayed a gun during the confrontation. In a final confrontation, Poole reversed and accelerated toward Williams, hitting a stop sign and a tree before striking Williams in the leg. In response, the 16-year-old passenger fired a gun into Poole’s Jeep.

Following the incident, police detained Poole, Williams, and the teenage passenger. Poole faces charges of aggravated battery with a motor vehicle, while the 16-year-old is charged with aggravated assault with a firearm. Charges against Williams are pending, though he was not seriously injured. The incident remains under investigation by the Bradenton Police Department.
