Police Seek Hit-And-Run Driver Who Left Woman Dead in Arlington Heights

LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Authorities Thursday sought the public’s help to identify a hit-and-run driver who left a 25-year-old woman dead in Arlington Heights.

The suspect was driving a white two-door Nissan Altima eastbound on West Pico Boulevard just before 2:20 a.m. Saturday when the vehicle struck the woman in a marked crosswalk near South Wilton Place, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.

The driver stopped briefly after the collision, but then drove away.

Los Angeles Fire Department paramedics were called to the scene and pronounced the woman dead. Her name was not immediately released.
