LOS ANGELES (CNS) – Detectives sought the public’s help Wednesday in identifying the driver in a hit-and-run collision on May 15 that left a pedestrian severely injured in South Los Angeles.
The victim, a 41-year-old man, was crossing the intersection of 65th Place and Western Avenue at around 8:30 p.m. when he was struck by a black sedan, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The driver fled the scene continuing northbound on Western. Police said a side mirror recovered at the scene possibly matches a 2016-22 Chevrolet Malibu.
A reward of up to $25,000 is available to anyone who provides information leading to the identification, apprehension or conviction of the suspect, according to the LAPD.
