Police Looking for Two Hit-and-Run Drivers in Anaheim

ANAHEIM (CNS) – Anaheim police Tuesday were looking for two hit-and-run drivers who struck a pedestrian.

Police were called at 9:10 p.m. Monday to Lincoln Avenue just west of State College Boulevard, where they found a victim in the westbound lanes, according to Sgt. Shane Carringer of the Anaheim Police Department.

The victim was in his 40s, Carringer said. Police were working to identify him, he added.

The victim was running southbound across Lincoln when a sport-utility vehicle driven by a woman struck him outside a crosswalk, Carringer said.

That driver remained on the scene and has helped authorities, Carringer said, but police suspect two other vehicles ran over the victim and kept going.

Anyone who witnessed the incident was asked to call police at 714-765-1900.
