Police Investigating Deadly Shooting in Carson

CARSON (CNS) – A man in his 20s was shot early Tuesday in a Carson intersection.

The shooting occurred at about 12:10 a.m. at the intersection of East Helmick Street and South Central Avenue, said Deputy Tracy Koerner of the Sheriff’s Information Bureau.

The man was found lying in the street, he said.

The man was pronounced dead at the scene, Koerner said.

Homicide detectives were conducting a crime scene investigation, he said.
