Peeping Tom Arrested in Long Beach

LONG BEACH (CNS) – A suspected peeping Tom was arrested and police were seeking additional potential victims Thursday.

Jeremy Gonzalez, 37, of Los Angeles allegedly took photos of victims without permission while working as a maintenance worker at a residential complex near Ocean Boulevard and Pine Avenue in downtown Long Beach, according to the Long Beach Police Department.

Special Victims Section detectives arrested Gonzalez Wednesday for numerous alleged instances of the crime between April and December of last year. It was unclear if Gonzalez is still working at the job.

Gonzalez was being held at Long Beach City Jail, where he was booked on 30 counts of invasion of privacy. His bail was set at $300,000, according to the department.

LBPD detectives believe there might be additional incidents. Possible victims were asked to contact the LBPD’s Sex Crimes Detail at 562-570-7368. Anonymous tips can be submitted through Crime Stoppers at 900-222-TIPS (8477) or at www.lacrimestoppers.org.
