A recall has been issued for a popular patio swing sold exclusively at Costco after reports of the seat detaching during use, leading to injuries. The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission announced the recall affecting about 18,500 Agio Menlo Woven Patio Swings manufactured by World Bright International Limited.
The recall was initiated after eight incidents were reported where the swing seat separated from the frame, resulting in injuries such as head and arm impacts. The swings, sold from February to March 2026, feature a black metal frame, a fabric canopy, and a cushioned brown wicker-style seat. They were priced between $549 and $649.
Consumers are urged to stop using the swings immediately. World Bright International Limited is offering a free repair kit, which includes replacement hooks and installation instructions. Customers can contact the company toll-free at 888-383-1932 or via email at recall@agioliving.com for assistance.
The recall notice, available on the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission’s website, emphasizes the risk of serious injury or death due to the fall hazard. World Bright International Limited has apologized for the inconvenience and thanked customers for their cooperation.
