One Injured Following Reports of Shooting at Valley Glen High School

At least one person was injured following reports of a shooting outside Ulysses S. Grant High School in Valley Glen Wednesday.

The shooting occurred about 3:25 p.m. as students were being dismissed from the school, located at 13000 Oxnard St., according to the Los Angeles Police Department and the Los Angeles School Police Department.

One person was confirmed injured in the shooting, though no further details on their condition or the nature of their injuries were immediately available.

The high school was locked down for an unknown duration as authorities investigated the shooting.
