Naked Neighbor in L.A. Faces Indecent Exposure Allegations

In Sherman Oaks, a woman named Michelle McClintock has raised concerns about her neighbor’s indecent behavior.

According to McClintock, the neighbor frequently leaves his blinds open while allegedly engaging in explicit acts. McClintock and her son, who live on Riverside Drive, have been forced to keep their blinds shut due to the neighbor’s actions, which occur just feet from their windows. McClintock described the situation as “traumatic” and expressed feeling helpless against the ongoing displays.

McClintock has recorded the neighbor’s behavior and attempted to contact the police, but she was placed on hold for an extended period and eventually gave up. She has also reached out to both her apartment managers and those of the neighbor, but has received no assistance. Despite placing a note in her window urging the neighbor to close his blinds, the neighbor reportedly responded by telling her to close her own blinds.

KTLA Legal Analyst Alison Triessl explained that the neighbor could face indecent exposure charges if it is determined that he is willfully exposing himself to others for sexual arousal or offensiveness. If the neighbor has a criminal record involving sex offenses, he could face felony charges. In the meantime, McClintock’s young granddaughters are unable to visit due to the risk of exposure to the neighbor’s behavior.
