Mysterious Black Ring Spotted Floating In The Skies Above Seattle

A mysterious black ring appeared in the sky over Seattle on Sunday (March 30), causing widespread speculation and intrigue among residents. The dark circle was spotted hovering near the iconic Space Needle and Lumen Field, leading to a flurry of social media posts and theories about its origin.

Many locals speculated that the ring could be a rare weather phenomenon, a swarm of insects, or even an extraterrestrial sighting. However, a meteorologist from the National Weather Service confirmed that the ring was not weather-related.

According to The Daily Mail, some witnesses suggested that the ring was linked to pyrotechnics used during the Supercross dirt bike racing championship at Lumen Field. A video posted on Reddit showed a pyrotechnics machine creating a large fireball that eventually formed a smoke ring, similar to the one seen over Seattle.

Officials from Lumen Field and the Supercross event told KCPQ that while they couldn’t confirm the exact cause, they suspected the ring was related to the event’s fireworks. Many online commenters agreed, attributing the phenomenon to the Supercross pyrotechnics.

Despite the plausible explanation, some people continued to propose more fantastical ideas, such as the ring being a portal or a message from extraterrestrial beings.

The mysterious ring has since dissipated, but it left Seattle residents buzzing with curiosity and wonder.
