Numerous people were injured when a tour bus overturned on Interstate 90 in Pembroke, New York on Friday (August 22). According to the Genesee County Fire Wire, officials requested at least six mercy flight helicopters and multiple ambulances to transport patients to the hospital.
Some victims were ejected from, the bus, while others were trapped underneath the wreckage of the bus.
The New York State Police said that all lanes were closed on I-90 between exits 49 and 48A due to the crash, which also involved a tractor trailer.
Those were not injured in the crash were being transported to the Indian Falls Fire Station in East Pembroke.
Officials have not said what caused the crash.
