WESTMINSTER (CNS) – A man walking in the center divider of the Garden Grove (22) Freeway in Westminster was fatally struck by a vehicle tonight. Â
The man was found on the eastbound 22 Freeway at Brookhurst Street around 9 p.m., according to the California Highway Patrol. He died at the scene. His name was withheld pending notification of the next of kin. Â
It was not initially clear why the man was on the freeway. Details of the crash were not immediately available.
