In Three Oaks, Florida, a 13-year-old boy was violently attacked after Play-Doh accidentally hit a passing car on Saturday (April 26). According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office, Julian Torres and a friend were throwing Play-Doh near a road when a blue car passed by, prompting the driver to make a U-turn and confront the teens.
“So we started like throwing it in the road. There wasn’t really cars there, but we were just like throwing in the road. And one of my friends threw a piece in the road, and there was a car, like, coming on like really fast, and, like, it kind of like hit the Play-Doh,” Torres told WPBF. “And I guess the guy got upset and he did a whole U-turn around the whole entire park back to the community.”
The man, who remains unidentified, chased the boys, caught up with Torres, and punched him in the face before stomping on his head. The other boy was also punched but managed to run for help.
The Lee County Sheriff’s Office is actively searching for the suspect, who is facing potential felony charges, including child abuse.
“The passenger in the car loses his mind and instructs the driver to pull over. The passenger gets out of the car and immediately starts attacking these juveniles. These are kids. This is a grown man getting out of a car, attacking children. After he lays hands on them, he gets back in the car, leaves in a blue car,” Trish Routte from Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers said.
The incident was captured on video, which shows the suspect leaving the scene in a blue Honda with a pink heart sticker on the rear. Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers shared a video of the suspect walking away and urged the community to contact authorities if they have any information that could lead to the suspect’s arrest.
