A man was arrested following a road-rage incident that led to a stabbing at a Starbucks parking lot in Riverside on Sunday afternoon. The altercation occurred just after 4 p.m. near Alessandro Boulevard and Mission Grove Parkway. According to Riverside police, the incident began when the victim unintentionally cut off the suspect on the road. The suspect then followed the victim to the Starbucks and allegedly began choking him after a confrontation.
In an act of self-defense, the victim grabbed a knife and stabbed the attacker in the arm. Both men were hospitalized and are expected to recover. However, only the suspect was arrested following the altercation. It remains unclear whether the knife belonged to the victim or the suspect.
