Major Update On Wrestler Syko Stu After Off-Script Attack By Raja Jackson

Independent wrestler StuartSyko StuSmith is alert and communicating from his hospital bed after Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend QuintonRampageJackson, went off-script and pummeled him during their match over the weekend, fellow wrestler Douglas Malo, who stopped Jackson’s attack, told TMZ Sports.

“[Stu] remembers mostly what happened during the early parts of the day. He’s talking a little bit. He’s alert. He’s still got some injuries that are very serious. Not, like, life-threatening serious, but, facial injuries, stuff like that,” he said.

Malo told TMZ Sports that he also suffered some bruising while stopping Jackson’s attack and believes he too could’ve seriously been injured.

“I’m pissed at what he did to my friend. I’m pissed for him punching me in the face. I’m pissed for him that when I went to take him off and told him to calm down, he tried to double leg me,” Malo said.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that it responded to, took a police report on and is investigating the incident at KnokX Pro’s KnokXperience event in Sun Valley on Saturday (August 23). Jackson took down Smith, an Army veteran, and landed more than 20 punches that appeared to be real and knock Smith unconscious during an otherwise scripted match.

Smith appeared to hit Jackson with a can outside the venue earlier in the night, which was believed to be part of the build-up to their match, however, Rampage Jackson claimed his son was told he could get “payback” for the incident during their match in a post on his X account Sunday (August 24).
