LOS ANGELES (CNS) – The average price of a gallon of self-serve regular gasoline in Los Angeles County dropped one-tenth of a cent Monday to $4.565, a day after rising a half-cent.
The average price is one-tenth of a cent less than one week ago, 6 cents less than one month ago and 79.1 cents less than one year ago, according to figures from the AAA and Oil Price Information Service. It has dropped $1.929 since rising to a record $6.494 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The Orange County average price dropped two-tenths of a cent to $4.492, a day after rising a half-cent. It is unchanged from one week ago, 7.3 cents less than one month ago and 80.2 cents less than one year ago. The Orange County average price has dropped $1.967 since rising to a record $6.459 on Oct. 5, 2022.
The national average price decreased two-tenths of a cent to $3.351, a day after dropping eight-tenths of a cent.
It is 6 cents less than one week ago, 16.8 cents less than one month ago and 46.9 cents less than one year ago. The national average price has dropped $1.665 since rising to a record $5.016 on June 14, 2022.
