Langer’s Deli, a Los Angeles institution known for its iconic #19 pastrami sandwich, will celebrate its 79th anniversary on Wednesday, June 17, with a special daylong giveaway.
Customers visiting the deli will have the chance to win gift certificates, with drawings held every 30 minutes starting at 8:30 a.m. Each drawing will award a $100 gift certificate, and a grand-prize drawing at 3:30 p.m. will offer a $1,000 certificate.
To participate, customers must write their name and phone number on the back of their entry ticket before placing it in the contest drum. Each visitor will receive one free entry ticket, limited to one per person. Winners do not need to be present to win and will be notified by phone. Norm Langer, the owner of Langer’s Deli, expressed gratitude to the loyal customer base, stating, “Since my parents opened Langer’s Deli in 1947, our community, our city, and our world have changed in countless ways. What has never changed is our commitment to serving the highest-quality food and the incredible loyalty of our customers.”
