LAFD Emergency Medical Services Vehicle Involved In Crash In Reseda Area

A Los Angeles Fire Department Emergency Medical Services captain who was traveling to an emergency call in a department SUV with the lights and siren activated was injured Monday in a three-vehicle crash in the Reseda area.

The crash was reported about 12:50 p.m. in the 10300 block of West Roscoe Boulevard, said Brian Humphrey of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The captain was taken to a hospital for treatment of a non-life- threatening injury, Humphrey said. No other injuries were reported.

Humphrey said the crash was under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department’s Valley Traffic Division.
