Influencer Misha Argawal died at the age of 24, just two days before her 25th birthday, her family announced in a statement shared on her Instagram account Saturday (April 26).
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the heartbreaking news of Misha Agrawal’s passing,” the statement reads. “Thank you all for the love and support you showed her and her work. We are still trying to come to terms with this immense loss.
“Please keep her in your thoughts and continue to carry her spirit in your hearts.”
The family added that their “loss is unimaginable” in the caption of the post.
The Indian influencer had more than 350,000 social media followers and founded a hair oil brand called Mish Cosmetics.
“We are heartbroken to share that our founder, Misha Agrawal, has passed away,” the company said in a statement shared on Monday (April 28). “She built MishCosmetics.in and Mish Hair Oil with love, passion, and a dream to make a diffeence.
“As we navigate through this difficult time, we kindly ask for your patience with your orders. We promise — everything will be processed and delivered soon.
“Thank you for standing with us, for your endless love, and for believing in Misha’s dream. Let’s continue to keep her spirit alive — together.
Argrawal’s cause of death has not yet been announced, however, her sister, Er Mukta Agrawal assured concerned followers that they would have more information in the future.
“Guys, please don’t panic,” she commented in response to concerns. “You deserve to know this news, which is why we’re sharing the update now.”
“We’re not in a position to explain the hows and whys at the moment. Please take care,” she added.
