In-N-Out CEO Clarifies Company Is Not Leaving California

In-N-Out Burger CEO Lynsi Snyder is addressing confusion regarding the company’s presence in California. Recent headlines and social media posts suggested that the popular fast-food chain was moving its operations from California to Tennessee. However, Snyder clarified that this is not the case.

During a recent appearance on the “Relatable” podcast, Snyder announced her personal decision to relocate her family to Tennessee, where In-N-Out is expanding and establishing a regional headquarters. She emphasized that the company will maintain its corporate offices in California while opening an “Eastern Territory” office in Tennessee.

The New York Times reported that Snyder, who was raised in Northern California, expressed her challenges with raising a family and doing business in California during the podcast. This announcement led to mixed reactions from Californians, with some expressing disappointment and accusing Snyder of ingratitude towards the state where In-N-Out was founded in 1948.

Despite these reactions, Snyder reassured fans and customers that In-N-Out’s roots remain firmly planted in California, and the company is simply expanding its reach to better serve its customers across the United States.
