The legendary Ice House Comedy Club in Pasadena is celebrating its 65th anniversary on September 23rd. To mark the occasion, the nation’s oldest continuously operating comedy club will host a 65th Anniversary Celebration & Show at its Pasadena home, 24 N. Mentor Ave. Pre-show festivities kick off at 6:00 PM, with the main show starting at 8:00 PM.
For more than six decades, The Ice House has been a landmark for comedy, hosting legends like George Carlin, Robin Williams, David Letterman, Jim Carrey, Jay Leno, Ellen DeGeneres, and Jerry Seinfeld, as well as today’s biggest comedians.
Organizers say the anniversary bash promises an unforgettable night beginning with a carnival-themed pre-show party featuring games, treats, and a special culinary collaboration with Los Angeles staple Pink’s Hot Dogs.
At showtime, the laughs take center stage with a powerhouse lineup including Arsenio Hall, Howie Mandel, Russell Peters, Craig Robinson, Alfred Robles, and Jiaoying Summers, hosted by veteran comedian and radio personality Frazer Smith.
And the fun doesn’t stop when the curtain falls because guests are invited to a DJ-powered patio after-party to close the night with music, dancing, and more laughs.
General Manager Penny Toler says with a history of spotlighting comedy’s brightest stars, The Ice House’s 65th anniversary is more than a celebration; it’s a tribute to a stage that has defined American comedy for generations.
